Wednesday, 13 August 2008

A well-planned house party is a great way to share information on issues and organizations you care about with friends, family, neighbors, business partners, and others. We can help you introduce the work and impact of OCM, and generate membership and donations to support our continued success.

Goals of a  House Party:

  • Raise awareness about the problem of market concentration in agriculture

  • Provide a forum for discussion and brainstorming, and an opportunity for people to ask questions on issues that concern them

  • Gather signatures on petitions, names for letters to the editor, and addresses for mailing list

  • Educate folks on the benefits of becoming an OCM member

  • Collect donations to expand OCM’s donor base
